PLANNING

When you decide to book a session with me, we will have a pre-session chat to discuss your portrait session. Your session can be scheduled to take place in the studio or at a chosen location, depending on what will best capture the essence of your family.

YOUR SESSION

Your session will be a stress-free, professional & joyful experience. A session with me is built around play & movement. Everyone is encouraged to slow life down & just be present, ready to make some core memories. I encourage everyone to not take the session too seriously.

DELIVERY & SELECTION

After your session, you will receive an online gallery link so you can view your carefully enhanced images & take a moment to reminisce. I will guide you in choosing the best photos for your family and help you design your collection and co-create your packages of love.

$250 SESSION FEE

My session fee for all or our non-commercial photography packages is $250.00. This fee secures your date in my calendar, covers your personalised session experience, access to my studio, client wardrobe & styling ideas. It also covers my time hand editing & presenting your gallery to you, along with my guidance choosing your collections.

OUR COMMERCIAL STUDIO SPACE

I have Whyalla’s ONLY commercial studio of 5+ years. You won’t be awkwardly walking up to someone’s home door. It’s an intimate but versatile space with a real shopfront (& a few great cafe’s nearby). You can feel confident that I am a genuine, established local business, putting your professional experience first.

FULL SERVICE STUDIO

Your beautiful memories shouldn’t rely on electricity or an internet connection to be seen & cherished. I don’t want you to walk away from your experience feeling like a digital file hoarder. All of my packages include some tangible, high quality prints that you can proudly hold & display.

We don’t have to go far to capture the perfect photos of your family. Home is where the heart is. It’s a place where your family is comfortable & most natural. Lets re-enact those snuggly morning cuddles in mum & dad’s bed, crumple up on the couch & celebrate the everyday in a heartfelt way.

At play

If adventure & exploration is something you seek, we can take your session into the wilderness. Be it an urban, city scape, farm, field or ocean dip, I’ll capture your family in an earthy & soulful way – wrapped in mother natures golden rays & each other’s arms.

PRODUCTS AND COLLECTIONS

THE MINI SESSION

A mini photo session is a brief photo shoot that typically lasts between 15 and 30 minutes. These sessions are designed to be shorter and more affordable than traditional photo shoots, and they often focus on capturing some essential images. Mini photo sessions are offered promotionally, & are perfect for capturing important milestones such as birthdays, holidays or engagements. During a mini photo session, we work quickly to capture the most important shots. These sessions are faster paced from the moment you arrive. We don’t usually have time to warm your babies up, have long chats or make changes to the setup/clothing/location. The cost of these sessions is less, your gallery is smaller, but they can still produce beautiful and memorable photographs that can be cherished for years to come.

THE FULL SESSION

A full photo session is a longer, more customised photo shoot that typically lasts between one to three hours. These sessions provide more time to slow life right down, allowing everyone to get comfortable. We take our time easing those precious & honest smiles from your child’s face, without it feeling forced or rushed.
During an extended photo session, we have the opportunity to experiment with different locations, lighting & ideas. There is also more time for outfit changes, adjusting hair and makeup, and incorporating props. The benefit of having extra time to capture your photos is that we can achieve a more personalized and detailed outcome, and capture a wider range of cherished shots. Your final gallery is larger, more varied, full of love & personalised details.

The core of my work is human & heart centred – a blend of nostalgia & artistry. I’m not into the superficial stuff. When creating with me, I like to slow down & explore more than the typical pretty pictures. I’m a visual storyteller, looking for intimacy, soulful connection & real, honest, simple moments.

Vouchers

Vouchers are a great ‘experience’ gift for those that are deeply invested in family time. Photographic memories last well beyond the initial photo session. Give the unique & sentimental gift of heirloom portraits & statement products.

Vouchers can be any nominated amount, so you can choose to pay the full session and collection cost for your loved one; just the deposit for their sitting; or any smaller amount to put towards their session or prints when their session is done.
